Suspended in trees, surrounded by beauty and illuminated by the stars…A-WOL’s Art in the Dark annual performance is a fantastical, illuminated, full-length, evening production set in a unique and rare outdoor theater-style setting. Transforming a dirt plot into a performance spot, each show is packed with the flavor of the Northwest and a wonderful taste of the talent this area has to offer! Come see why A-WOL grabbed the attention of OPB’s “Oregon Art Beat” during the 2012 season! Last year’s show sold out entirely – get your ticket early.

Art in the Dark is enjoyed by all ages (children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket).

No Refunds will be given. Feel free to trade/sell tickets at face value via our Facebook event page.

Pre-show: guests are invited to arrive early and purchase snacks and beverages from us or enjoy your own picnic. Entry opens at 7:30. Show begins around dark.

Seating: This show takes place in a forested setting. Please read the descriptions carefully when purchasing tickets. This year we are selling the following options:

2-person tarps / 4-person tarps / 6 person picnic table / 8 person picnic table

SEATING WILL BE FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. (it’s basically like general admission but we have these really great little tarps attached to the ground for you to sit on or picnic tables to sit at, depending on which purchase you make. This ensures that everyone has a spot, allows for easy navigation through the forest setting and makes it easier to manage ground seating in general)

SINGLE SEATS: we have a very limited amount of single seats available. These will be on single size tarps.

Handicap Seating: Please purchase EASY ACCESS SEATING. This is tarp seating on the perimeter and is easier to access than all other seating. It is uneven ground. If you need something other than this, please contact us at fly@awoldance.org.

Concessions: Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. (family-friendly and adult options) . We are also providing an “add-on” option here for pre-purchase. Orders will be made available upon entry and picked up at Concessions with the ticket purchaser’s name.

Weather: this show will happen unless it is absolutely pouring. It is fairly tree-covered. Do dress in layers as the evening can be chilly. Blankets are welcome as well.

Other notes: Smoking within the park is not allowed. Formal photography and/or video recording is prohibited without a press pass. (but feel free to post photos and short videos as long as you hashtag #awoldance and #artinthedark) Children of all ages are welcome, please monitor them closely as they MUST stay seated during the performance. Pets are not allowed.
