From Scratch is a dance making workshop within the container of your very own kitchen (pun intended). In this virtual workshop we will explore movement improvisation tasks and compose a sketch of a dance within the architecture of the kitchen landscape. Each participant will create their own dance and have an opportunity to share if they wish. This workshop is for all levels of movement experience and backgrounds.

The process I will be sharing for making and composing movement could be used within any context, not just a kitchen. This would be a great workshop for any dance artist who wants to explore ways to generate movement and create choreography. It’s also a great workshop for any one who just wants to dance in a new context or spice up their kitchen dance routines 🙂
